The Tanzanian Children’s Fund works to ensure that all children and families in the Karatu region of northern Tanzania lead healthy and productive lives and have the opportunity to become positive agents of change for their country. In order pharmacy-no-rx.net to achieve our goals, TCF provides a loving and permanent home for 94 marginalized children at the Rift Valley Children’s Village. However, TCF also recognizes that the best way to promote the well-being of all children is to provide access to high-quality education, free healthcare, and micro-finance trainings and loans to the entire community. Our innovative, multi-pronged approach to addressing systemic poverty is what has enabled us to have a deep impact and catalyze real and lasting change.

Ben added:

“I was introduced to The Tanzanian Children’s Fund by a friend, Tamara Braun, who was heading out to volunteer at the organization. Once she was there and experiencing first hand the amazing work they were doing, we decided to collaborate on a piece of art. She took an image of one of the children, a cheeky lad called Ema, and sent it over to me. I knew I wanted to create something personal to them so I created “Tender, Caring, Fun” based on the TCF initials of the organization and using the national flag colours of Tanzania. TCF is a home for orphaned children giving them a stable home for life while providing food, clothing, shelter, education and much more. It’s an amazing organization and I felt compelled to help in the way I know best, by creating a work of art and using my voice to spread the word.”

“I am in love with TCF and The Rift Valley Children’s Village. I feel so blessed to be a part of experiencing first hand what an incredible organization and family it is. ‘Family is Forever’ is their motto and they have created a beautiful, loving environment where the children here are thriving. Ema is a kindergartener at the top of his class. He is a bright, charming, enthusiastic and loving little boy. He is also quite the artist who loves to draw big cats. I love his laughter and our nightly ritual of tucking him in, sharing lots of hugs and kisses and wishing each other the sweetest of dreams. I have felt privileged to be a care giver to him and others here for a short while and am very blessed to feel their love and trust in return. India Howell and Peter Massaey have created a very successful model for children to succeed.”
